OOOOO is a collection of sculptural forms, hanging sculptures and lighting. Formed from unglazed white stoneware, all pieces feature a chain linked motif representing unity and connection. These hopeful sentiments are integral today in a world that feels ever more divided and disconnected.

The striking yet simple chains hang, spiral and hug, adorning the geometric forms like jewellery. While these pieces appear clean and structured at first glance, there is a softness and imperfection attributed to their handmade nature. Wall and ceiling hangings include brass chains and fittings, with the golden shine of the metal beautifully contrasting against the matt clay. These hanging, balancing pieces signify the fragility of human connection today. The collection is a further study of the theme of unity and growing together, initially explored in my previous works, Coalesce.
