The piece is made from textured stoneware and is unglazed so you can admire the light cream colour of the clay. There is a softness and imperfection attributed to its handmade nature and each chain link is unique. There are visible joins and textural markings from the clay and making process. This piece is intended for sculptural use and is not water tight. If desired, a dried flower or stem can be placed within the slim neck of the piece to be used as a vase.
