The tall cream/grey linen shade is handmade in the UK, the three cylindrical parts to the lamp offering perfectly balanced proportions of scale. Created by Miyelle at her studio in Hackney, London, this unique piece is part of her ceramic collection “OOOOO”. The striking yet simple chain motif is present in each item in the collection in a different shape or form, representing unity and connection. The piece is made from textured stoneware and is unglazed so you can admire the light cream colour of the clay. There is a softness and imperfection attributed to its handmade nature and each chain link is unique. There are visible joins and textural markings from the clay and making process.
The lamp features a bayonet brass fitting with switch with an antique brass twisted cord, The lamp can be wired to fit a UK, EU or US plug and is PAT tested. Individual dimensions for the base and shade are:
